LincsMag went over to see the BSSK Mind, Body & Spirit event that was held on June the 4th and 5th at the The New Epic Centre on the Lincolnshire Showground, Grange-de-Lings, Lincoln.
BSSK Events promote major mind, body and spirit events in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and surrounding areas and deliberately vet those contributing to these events to ensure that the highest standards are met.

The Lincoln event BSSK quickly admit, is always something special and is their main 'music' event, which brings in a variety of talented artists from the Mind, Body & Spirit genre offering live music on stage.
The cafe was next to the show making it possible to relax with your lunch and listen to the performers, but also acted very well as a strategic buffer between the music and the 115 stands, making it easier to hear the exhibitors closest to it.

BSSK make it clear that the aim of these events is to provide a family friendly setting for people to:

Effectively, fun for all!

The music as well as the choice of 24 talks are all included in the admission fee and the parking is free.
For those looking to explore alternative or complementary therapies, as well as the mind, body and spirit genre, fair trade and eco friendly products, this is a must see event.
I noticed the friendliness of not just the people that were involved, but also the visitors attending, as obviously the event creates happy, calm atmosphere.
Outside the main building, Lincolnshire Dance were encouraging people to enjoy dancing and they certainly presented a choice of styles from Medieval to modern day. Mind, body and spirit, mixed with fun and fitness ... quite an interesting day.
If you are thinking this is something you would like to have gone to, but now missed, don’t worry, because BSSK often run this event at Lincoln (about three times a year), with the next being near Christmas.
