Dementia Activities In North Kesteven
This past year the Sport & Physical Activity team have been working hard to improving their dementia services within the North Kesteven District.
The team now offer two Friendship Hubs which take place each month and are a suitable and safe environment for people living with dementia and their carers providing them with the opportunity to become more active and have fun.
The Friendship Hubs offer stimulating activities as well as offering the opportunity for carers to socialise and share information. Activities include painting, dancing and games such as new age kurling. Everyone is welcome including carers, family members and friends.
