MITSUBISHI MOTORS CORPORATION (MMC) has today (Nov 18, 2019) unveiled its restyled and updated Mirage in Thailand. Both models will be on display at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2019 to be held on November 28.

The revisions give the new Mitsubishi Mirage a sharper and more dynamic exterior as well as more elegant interior designs.

Most noticeably, the new compact car adopts the Dynamic Shield front design that denotes the Mitsubishi brand identity. The styling sweeps round from the sides toward the middle of the nose in a protective embrace. Combined with the square grille and its horizontal/vertical bar pattern, the effect is to give the front end a more powerful and sharper look.

The optimised lamp layout makes the front look wider and more stable. The styling of the multi-bulb LED combination lamps connects them visually with the grille and with the fog lamps located at the bumper corners.

The rear is given a wider and more stable look with a squared-off treatment for the bumper corners and with the L-signature horizontal LED combination lamps that stretch across the width of the car.

The new look is finished off with new 15-inch alloy wheels with two-tone diamond-cut styling and two new colour choices: A new White Diamond body color, which has a brilliance and depth to it, and a vibrant and fresh new Sand Yellow colour. The new Mitsubishi Mirage also benefits from more user-friendly and stylish interiors. The front arm rests use a new design and hand-touch areas are finished in soft-feel cloth. The meter panel and the power window switch panel use a carbon pattern, while upper trim levels are upholstered in a sporty-look fabric/synthetic leather combination, with the addition of piping and stitching to the seat sides to give an added touch of elegance.

The new Mirage is also available with Mitsubishi Motors' new Smartphone Display Audio (SDA) system with a seven-inch touchscreen for improved legibility and ease of use. The SDA system offers full smartphone connectivity including Bluetooth hands-free calling and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Final UK specification will be announced closer to the launch of the new Mitsubishi Mirage in early 2020. New Mitsubishi Mirage - Lincolnshire Magazine - LincsMag.com
