1st - William Fox-Pitt on Chilli Morning
2nd - Dee Hankey on Chequers Playboy
3rd - Karin Donckers on Fletcha Van ‘T Verahof

After securing his ninth win at Bramham, William Fox-Pitt added why this is such a special event for him; “There’s such a great atmosphere here. Look at today; the public were out in force despite the rain. They were enthusiastic and supported the riders the whole way round. I’ve been lucky to have the right type of horse for Bramham and the courses, particularly Ian’s, are fantastic. It’s a perfect stepping stone for horses on their journey to the top.”

Equi-Trek CCI3*

Bramham turned out a good event for the Irish Olympian Aoife Clark as a faultless show jumping round riding the mare Fenyas Elegance won her the Equi-Trek CCI3* 2014 title.

The Oxfordshire based rider was only 11th after the dressage and finished just two seconds over the optimum time on Saturday’s cross country in wet conditions to climb to 2nd. Izzy Taylor had led after the dressage on a very impressive score of 28.1, she maintained her lead after the cross country which saw her add 14.8 time penalties.

A clear show jumping round by Aoife Clark then put the pressure on overnight leaders Izzy Taylor and Orlando who then dropped a pole, which saw them slide to 2nd and gave Aoife her second CCI3* win with Fenyas Elegance.

As well as the Sugden Perpetual Trophy, Aoife takes home an Equi-Trek Sonic horse box for a year.

3rd spot went to William Fox-Pitt riding Freddie Mac, who climbed from 15th after dressage with a good cross country and faultless show jumping.
