When I use to make my way to the Design Studio in Ortona, Italy, I use to go by way of one of the back streets that meant I passed a small workshop, which had always stood outside the door, a large Pinocchio made out of twisted metal.
It was beautiful to see and to admire the craftsmanship that had gone into making it.
I often wondered what if it could move, what would people think. The French have gone one better and created fantastic large puppets, the most famous of which is the Little Girl Giant.
This is skill and magic that brings delight and joy to everyone.
So for the LincsMag Coffee Time Section, enjoy a really large Puppet Show ... French style.
Enjoy!
And on the Ile de Nantes, there is now a collection of machines in the style of Jules Verne who was born in the city of Nantes in Western France.
