Well, we are now One ... having been on the go for a full year publishing articles monthly and in some cases weekly and daily.
There is no doubt that our magazine has had a positive impact and through no direct or deliberate advertising we have steadily grown to over 10,000 unique visitors a month. Not bad when there has been no marketing drive to promote LincsMag at this early stage.
So why have we not tried to promote the magazine?
Simple really, in the early stages the magazine was naturally small with only a few articles, so anyone coming to read material was finding only a few stories etc. But like all magazines, over time we grow as more and more material is added and there then is an article to more or less interest everyone.
We are fortunate in having a precise and structured Five Year Plan, which has gone even better than planned as we move through each stage.
Patricia Montgomery has been a faithful member of the Team, whose abounding knowledge of the nightclub scene has never ceased to amaze me, her articles that have spanned the spectrum from motoring to health, etc have always been well researched and informative ... and at times with a bit of humour thrown in as well.
LincsMag unlike most other general magazines, also has a dedicated Martial Arts Section, with our own Martial Arts Expert, George Allan, which provides interesting content for a growing group of people interested in this fascinating, and one could say very useful, sport.
It goes without saying if you have seen our motoring section and Car Review Section, that motor fans have been well catered for and this has been due to the first class qualities of the dedicated LincsMag Motoring journalist, Tim Barnes-Clay, who joined the LincsMag Team in June this year.
We have now two wonderful American Ladies that have joined LincsMag, Kelly Sallaway and Christa Brunori, whose different writing styles and talents give a refreshing choice and enjoyment ... from Kelly’s dynamic and entertaining articles, to Christa’s magical, ethereal and soul touching writings.
Our American Section has been well received and drawn dedicated American fans to LincsMag. Their support and loyalty has been truly outstanding and is continuing to grow on a daily basis.
LincsMag has been fortunate to have not just good Staff Writers and Photographers, but also willing and enthusiastic contributors that have added to the richness of the LincsMag content.
To all those that have assisted and continue to assist, a very BIG thank you!
All in all LincsMag has Grown (and continuing to grow) into a completely different magazine as was first envisaged ... it’s scope is reaching out now to a much more global audience, but still with that Lincolnshire touch.
