Lincoln’s Panto Stars Make a Song and Dance of it at St Marks Shopping Centre...
The crowds were out on Thursday 18th November at St Marks Shopping Centre in Lincoln to enjoy an evening of festive entertainment.
With live music, fun and games, Christmas shoppers were treated to local live bands and the family friendly gang from Lincs FM ahead of the Lights Switch On.
Pantomime characters, from the production of Dick Wittington at the Lincoln Drill Hall, then took to the stage to entertain with performances from their Christmas show, followed by a seasonal sing-a-long with The Majestic Theatre School (MTS) choir.
The evening's entertainment culminated with the Lights Switch On, with a truly magical display of festive sparkle and decorations, bathing St Marks in seasonal colour.
Christmas continues at the Centre as the Rotary Club’s Reindeer and Sleigh (which has been borrowed from Santa himself) visits Lincoln for late night shopping at St Marks.
You can see Santa’s Reindeer and Sleigh at the centre from 5pm on the following dates:
Centre Manager, Kevin Lockwood said: “The night was a huge success and got everyone in the Christmas spirit. On behalf of St Marks I wish to thank all those who took part in the night’s entertainment, including the Majestic Theatre School choir and the fantastic cast of Dick Wittington.
"I hope that on the run up to Christmas even more people come along and enjoy the magical light display, it certainly seems to be putting smiles on the faces of all our Christmas shoppers."
