CLA at LAMMA 2012

Rural membership body, the CLA, has announced it will be a key exhibitor at the LAMMA Show this year.
The major agricultural event at the Newark and Nottinghamshire Showground has, in recent years, led to a massive increase in both visitor and exhibitor numbers. For the 2012 event, approximately 750 exhibitors have registered to attend.
The growing diversity of exhibits has attracted people from across the UK and a number of trade representatives from Europe and as far afield as India, China and Australia are expected.
A low-priced shop window
CLA East Regional Director Nicola Currie said: “From the beginning, the principal aim of the LAMMA Show was to offer a low-priced shop window for small manufacturers to display their products. More than three decades later, this is still the case and a large number of small companies continue to take part. That’s in addition to all the major players in the farm machinery and services sectors, and is the reason why the CLA views the LAMMA Show as an important date for its diary.”
Mrs Currie added: “The CLA represents farming landowners, as well as other businesses, and is helping British farmers remain competitive. Therefore, visitors, fellow exhibitors and existing members should visit stand number 888 in Hall 8 to find out what the CLA is doing for them.”
As an added incentive to early birds making for the LAMMA Show, the car parks will open at 6am and visitors arriving between 6.30am and 8am will be able to enjoy a full English breakfast at a discounted price.
Additionally, the Show will this year officially open at 7.30am on both days. Admission to the Show and car parking are both free.
