Natural World Centre’s annual Christmas Market took place on Sunday 14 December and was a festive day of live music, dance performances and delicious food. There were stalls offering a unique range of crafted items, many from local crafters and artists.
The Boardwalk Cafe was transformed into a Mini Food Festival and offered a one day only Crackin’ Christmas Menu including breakfast, sandwiches, delicious roasted turkey and pork rolls and homemade soup. There was also, naturally, hot chocolate, mince pies and of course, mulled wine!
For the children there were activities on offer including Christmas Card Making, Santa’s Treasure Hunt and face painting that were available throughout the day.
There was live music throughout the day from Young Lynx, a local band from Lincoln as well as special performances from artsNK’s Balance Children’s Creative Dance group and ACTion Community Theatre, who brought theoretical mayhem that is taken from their 2015 pantomime – The Three Musketeers – La Pantomime!
The "Three Musketeers – La Pantomime!" is taking place in early January at the Terry O’Toole Theatre
The Natural World Centre in Whisby Nature Park, is a Local Nature Reserve owned and managed by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
